Executive Director Workforce Partnerships, Business & Finance
The Executive Director of Workforce Partnerships, Business and Finance, supports and assists the Vice President for Workforce Partnerships and provides oversight for the programs, partnership and business development activities of CCRI’s workforce partnership efforts in the area of business and financial services, including customized training; regional workforce/economic development programs; and professional/career training programs. This position focuses on identifying, developing, and sustaining partnerships with business and finance employers, associations, and community organizations to design and deliver training programs that meet regional workforce needs.
The Executive Director of Workforce Partnerships is the primary liaison between the college and its business and finance partners, ensuring high-quality program delivery, responsive client service, and measurable impact for workforce pipelines. The role combines consultative sales, relationship management, and program development to grow the college’s presence as a trusted training partner.
The Executive Director will work closely with the Vice President and all divisional staff to achieve the goals of the division in accordance with the mission, core values and purposes of the college.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business and financial employers, associations, and community organizations to identify workforce training needs and create collaborative education and training solutions.
Serve as a liaison between business and financial partners and the college’s academic and workforce partnership teams to ensure effective program design, delivery, and evaluation.
Promote the college’s business/financial workforce training programs and represent the college at industry meetings, advisory boards, community events, and regional workforce initiatives.
Collaborate internally with faculty, program directors, and staff to align workforce programs with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Identify partnership and funding opportunities, including grants, contracts, and employer-sponsored training, to expand the college’s business/financial workforce offerings.
Monitor business/financial workforce trends to ensure programs remain relevant, data-driven, and responsive to employer and community needs.
Track and report outcomes related to partner satisfaction, program effectiveness, and student success to inform continuous improvement and accountability.
Undertake projects assigned by the Vice President for Workforce Partnerships and represent the Vice President on college-wide initiatives as designated.
Represent the college at various local, regional and national community events.
Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of a comprehensive community college.

Performs other duties as assigned.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
This position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of five years of work experience in developing workforce development programs and partnerships
Experience with one or more of the above key industries
Knowledge of how to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and a wide range of business, industry, and community partners
Demonstrated interpersonal, written and oral communication skills essential, evidenced with a wide range of business partners
Strong entrepreneurial attitude
Exceptional ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization and perform in a broad range of environments including academic and business
Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated team-oriented managerial skills
High personal and professional ethical standards
Ability to work a flexible schedule
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree
Minimum five years’ experience with developing or designing training curriculum
