Adjunct Faculty, Biology (Future Opportunities)

JOB SUMMARY:
CCRI’s Department of Biology invites applicants for adjunct faculty positions. This posting is for both immediate vacancies and upcoming opportunities. By applying, you will be placed in a pool of candidates who will be reviewed when a suitable position becomes available.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To teach courses in the Biology program
- To design and deliver a competency-based curriculum using multiple instructional modalities, including online, hybrid and lecture
- Ability to develop course work that prepares students for the challenging professional positions within the fields of Allied Health and Biology.
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with students and colleagues

- Assess student learning according to best practices in measurement of student performance objectives and outcomes
- Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in pedagogical approaches to a diverse population of students and peers
LICENSES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field

- Experience teaching at the college level
